About this directory

What this site is

Ghana Dental Clinic Guide is an independent directory covering 227 dental clinics across the country. It exists for anyone trying to work out which clinic to call first: someone new to a city, a parent looking for a family dentist, a patient comparing prices for an implant or a crown. Rather than asking you to scroll through scattered reviews on half a dozen sites, we pull together public business information and recent Google reviews for each clinic and present it in one place, with a plain score attached.

We are also honest about the rest of the model. Ghana Dental Clinic Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a clinic, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page whenever it applies, and it never touches scores or earned rankings. The two functions, ranking and matching, are kept apart on purpose.

Where the data comes from

Each listing is built from publicly available business details (address, hours, services, contact information) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews for that clinic. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead we summarise the pattern of what reviewers are saying and link out to the clinic’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself.

How rankings are earned

Every ranking on this site comes from a published rubric applied to that review and business data, nothing else. No clinic can pay to move up the list, and no clinic can pay to keep a competitor down. The full rubric, including what gets weighted and how, is laid out on our methodology page.

A clinic that finds an error in its own listing (a wrong phone number, outdated hours, a closed branch) can request a correction to those facts. What a listed business cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the ranking. That stays tied to the data and the rubric, not to the business.

Sponsorship, when it appears

Some pages carry sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored”, shown in a separate section from the earned ranking, and never blended into the ranked list itself. Paying for visibility buys a label and a spot, not a better score.

Who runs it

This directory is published by Meridian Guides, founded in 2025, which builds independent directories for everyday services and started with dental clinics in Ghana. Meridian Guides ranks businesses using a scoring method built on published customer reviews, not on payment or sponsorship, and refreshes its data monthly so listings stay current. You’ll also notice a “last verified” stamp on each listing, which reflects that ongoing maintenance rather than a one-time write-up.

Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Janice, Editor, who is responsible for how the rubric gets applied across all 227 listings.

FAQ

Does paying for a sponsored spot improve a clinic's ranking?
No. Sponsored placements are labelled clearly and kept in a separate section from the earned ranking. They do not change a clinic's score or position.
Can a clinic change its own review score?
No. A listed business can correct factual details like its address or hours, but it cannot edit its score, sentiment summary, or ranking.
How often is listing information updated?
Data is refreshed monthly across the directory, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see when it was last checked.
What happens if I ask to be matched with a clinic?
Your enquiry is passed to providers relevant to your request, and Ghana Dental Clinic Guide may receive a referral fee. This is disclosed on the quote page and has no effect on rankings.
